Network Engineer

- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco IOS, NCS and Juniper MX Series Routers.
- Configure and test various routers based on routing protocols such as OSPF, MPLS and BGP.
- Configure and test Layer 2 technologies like ATM, VLANS on Cisco catalyst switches.
- Validate the test cases using test-sets like Spirent, n2x to simulate the real time scenarios.
- Perform backup and restoration of routers and switches to recover the data during failure scenarios.
Qualifications:
Experience in OSPF, MPLS, BGP, VLAN, ATM, Cisco Catalyst switches, Spirent, n2x.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Networking, Electrical Engineering or related field of Engineering with 1 year of experience.

Senior Network Engineer

Seeking Senior level Network Engineers with ability to work with the newest and most cutting edge carrier grade network equipment on the market. The consultants will provide industry expertise to a Tier 1 provider Labs organization, working to define the future of telecommunications networks.
Analyze client requirements, create & perform various tests, &prepare technical/functional specs.
Job Requirements:
- Collaborating with IT personnel to assist Business System certification and regression tests.
- Executing the test cases pertaining to Cisco vRR, GSR, Juniper MX960 routers.
- Authoring test plans and documenting test results.
- Performing hardware installation and turn-up.
- Authoring installation/turn-up procedure to support field deployment.
- Collaborating with system engineer to perform design validation.
- Conducting technical training and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Assisting field personnel to troubleshoot and performing root-cause analysis of problems found in production network.
- Interfacing with CISCO technical team to resolve problems found in lab testing.
- Performing and managing IP address allocation for lab and field equipment.
- Collaborating with IT personnel to assist Business System certification and regression tests.
- Setup and maintain documentation and standards
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience required in related field (i.e. Engineering.).
3+ years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree (MS/MBA or above).
3+ years working in a carrier grade labs environment
Must have worked with higher end routers (ASR 1k/9k, CRS, Juniper MX 480, MX 960 and above)
Strong Experience in writing test case and scenarios in lab environment.
Proven experience working with scripts (Unix, shell, python)
Experience working with SDN controllers.
3 years of experience working in IP engineering network design and management including recent experience with Cisco and Juniper specific implementations
Minimum of 3 years’ experience designing and implementing complex IP routing scenarios (Including BGP, ISIS, MPLS)
